Pastor Dan Cohn

I grew up in Stuyvesant and graduated from Ichabod Crane. I began working for the federal government while attending Siena College and stayed there after graduation. I was active in my home church and after taking deacon classes began the process of studying to become a pastor. Going through the DELTO (Distance Education Learning Towards Ordination) program at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis I graduated in February of 2012 and was ordained and installed in April of that year on a part-time call. After 30 plus years of service in the federal workforce I retired and began working at my current full-time job in February of 2022 as the Finance Associate of the LCMS Atlantic District. In October 2024 I received a Divine Call from St. Marks Lutheran in Hudson, NY and after prayer and discussion accepted the call and was installed as their pastor on December 15, 2024. The congregation is a blessing and I look forward to continuing working with them in sharing the Holy Gospel with our community.
